So I'm making 3D printed versions of some of the props in Trederra but for the life of me, I can't figure out what this mini tank contraption is (pictured here in the center). I looked through the mission booklet but saw no reference to it.

Is it just an extra prop with no game play mechanics like the boat in Swamps of Death?

I want to print one of these but why is the chit so small? Is it a remote controlled mine sweeper?

I am fairly certain that is a (very small) Mark IV tank. I would reckon that the base should be 4 x 2 or more likely 3 x 2 for spaces.

I think they included this for the same reason that they included the Jargono boat, and the Frontier Town Stagecoach.

You should modify the model to have small indentations to place 4 Trederrans on the corner.

I was going to take one of these http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:440171 and scale them up.

The design suggests a remotely controlled vehicle. Looking closely at my one, there's no physical means of entering it (no top hatch or side door), the vision port is occupied with three horizontal lights evenly spaced too far apart for a Trederran pilot and there's a very visible antenna in the back. It's something closer to a 40K Cyclops Demolition Vehicle which was based off the real-world Goliath Tracked Mine. In fact, if you compare the form of this unnamed vehicle to the Goliath, they compare very favorably. That being said, it could do duty as an armored recovery vehicle, pushing bodies and debris aside to facilitate troop movement.

What are you looking at?

Dang. And I just tossed out all my All Quiet on the Martian Front minis since the game died before I could get an army together.

Maybe you can find an Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade toy to count as it.

you can buy a 1/35 Goliath and it will be perfect scale. This was the joke to go with the Maus. Maus is giant and Goliath is small.

That sort of prop is handy for making your own missions up. Like.... start the Posse in Trederra, they have to follow the machine towards an unspecified treasure, so an escort quest. Or the machine could have a big bomb strapped to it's back and the Posse have to chase it and shut it down before it gets to its target, or you could use the machine as some kind of interactive prop to clear aside rubble in specific rooms so you have to defend it while it's doing its work, or you could have a chase from the bowels of the mines back to the mine entrance where the Posse has stolen the machine and the Trederrans want it back, or you could have one of the Posse riding the machine and trying to control it while the other members of the Posse chase after it trying to shut it down.. or... or.. well. You know, stuff like that.
