I've seen a few different foamcore designs for Vast, so I wanted to post a different idea for storage. A foamcore storage doesn't work very well for me because I'm always carrying games around in a bag on their side or upside down. All the pieces and cards always end up everywhere.

I like having everything that 1 player needs in its own box so I can just hand out the player board and box and they are ready to go. So I created tuckboxes that houses The Goblin cards and components, Cave cards and tokens, Dragons cards and tokens, and The Knight and Thief cards, vault tiles and players pieces together. Also, the tiles are in a tuckbox in 3 rows so they are similar height to the player tuck boxes. Finally, I have a card tuckbox for the rest of the Variant and Difficulty cards.

I decided to remove the standee pieces and holders, the purple vault tokens, and the cardboard treasure and crystal tokens from the box. I don't think anyone in my group will want to play with them over the other options. I also reprinted the "player aide" sheets on 110 lb paper to use instead of the original option. They were just too flimsy to use for me.

Hope it helps, Thanks

I feel like I should commission some difficulty and variation art for you.

LOL I should add that all graphic design was done via Paint.

I like your solution. I went the lazy route and used baggies for each character.

This is my solution. I put one part of the game on each shelf. Portability is terrible but its fancy.

I believe the only correct way to store this game is with different solutions for each role.

Baggies for the Knight
Foamcore for the Dragon
Cave gets small plastic boxes
Goblins are just thrown in the box
Thief gets the custom insert made from wood

Dip the whole thing in carbonite and call it a day.

My simple solution. Just keep everything flat underneath. Had to make up stickers. Obviously.

Yeah! I know. How dare they add more stuff! I've pledged for the minis and upgrade pack. I suspect it all won't fit in anyway so will probably just keep the other roles in one (hopefully) of the expansion boxes.
