Hey there!

I have a friend who's going to Essen this year (lucky dog!). I'm stuck here in Canada feeling all jealous.

He's offered to bring back a game or two, and I want to take him up on the offer. I don't, however, think it makes sense to get a game from Germany that will be here in NA shortly.

So besides the big hotness, can someone offer suggestions or ideas of things I can get from Essen/Germany that will be worth shipping back?

Thanks in advance!

We have a special Essen Promo, not sure if any retailers or publisher are interested in bringing this back to your country.

I've been through exactly this a few times since most of NZs games come from the Nth America supply chain.

i recommend looking a smaller boxed games since you won't want your friend to make an extra trip back to the hotel room to drop of games.

The type of publishers to look at are the small ones and not from UK; Germany; France. Also exclude Artipia and Portal they either have or likely to have US partners.

When I had the opportunity last year I was more interested in checking out the Asian games.

Check out the Geeklist of Lists; key ones at the start

Also check out the Promo Geeklist. I am running it this year, and need to do another update of it soon.
