The Jack O Lanterns, fresh off of a preseason loss to the Kittens on Thursday Night Football, came to New York to face off against the Spaceships.

Spaceships are home and choose to play TECHNO MODE. 7 on 7, no skills. Reminder that home team chooses how many players are on each team, but both teams have to decide together when to use skills.

Spaceships elect to receive.

First down. #6 is in the backfield for the the Spaceships. Jacks go with a spread out defense. Hike! The tight end on the spaceships opens up a gaping hole! In goes #6 with the ball! He's got open field! Touchdown Spaceships!!! The Jacks have no clue what just hit them.

The Jacks try to create some offense on first down with a run by 64, but 67 of the spaceships reads the play and makes the tackle at the 35 for a gain of 15.

Second down goes much better. Sesentayseis takes the ball for an incredible run of 55 yards before finally being brought down at the 10 by the Spaceships. Timeout Jacks to put 1:00 on the clock. Timeout spaceships bringing the clock to 2.

Third down . Sesentayseis fakes running the ball, then gets out of the pocket. He steps up, then throws a laser pass to Blellow in the endzone. Touchdown!!!! Spaceships timeout again.

With 2 minutes left, the Spaceships want to get a score in before the half. #6 is forced out of the pocket by a fierce blitz, but gets a quick screen off to #7. But the Jacks miss a tackle! Then another! It looks like the spaceships.... No! Great stop by Blellow to halt the Spaceships at the 5 yard line.

Final play of the half. Spaceships in very short range. But today was not their day. #46 gets the sack for 10, and that ends the half.

7-7 at the half.

Jacks receive the ball. #64 takes the ball around the blocks on a run, and breaks away down the sideline!!! But he decides to go out of bounds at the five. 75 yard run.

Second down. Spaceships desperately hoping for a fumble, Jacks just wanting to burn the clock. Squawk takes the ball up the middle, hoping to be tackled at the goal line. And the spaceships tackle him. But he fumbles it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #6 of the spaceships recovers it! He goes all the way! Touchdown!!! 105 yard return TD and the Spaceships take the lead! The Jacks have bungled it with their little "let's run the clock trick". DEJA VU IN THE HOUSE!

Jacks hoping for anything to save them. They line up four receivers. And somehow the Spaceships fail a block on Blellow. He goes deep! 64 sends the pass! Touchdown Jack o lanterns!

It's tied up at 14 with 2 minutes left. First down sees an incomplete pass from 67.

Second down. Final play of regulation. Jacks bring the blitz! But 67 manages a short little screen to 7. Unfortunately, he is tackled for a gain of twenty, and the second half comes to a close.

After regulation, 14-14

Jacks win the coin toss!

They set up a passing formation once again. Sesentayseis hits Blellow on a little Swing Outs screen route. But Blellow breaks a tackle! Another one! He's at the thirty, the twenty, the ten, TOUCHDOWN!!! THE JACK O LANTERNS WIN!!!!
