My bf and I are relatively new to boardgames but are looking to expand our collection. There are several games I was looking at but I wanted to get some feedback on if any of these games are NOT recommended for us gives our dislikes.
My bf is not a fan of: Farming, economic, civilization/territory building or route/network building games. He has stated that he is not a big fan of "eurogames" though that's a bit of an overgeneralization. Games he does not enjoy include:
Ticket to Ride
I don't like dungeon crawlers, exploration, narrative/storytelling or games heavy on rpg. Some games I don't enjoy:
Descent: Journeys in the dark (2nd edition)
Powerplay: schemes and skullduggery
In case it helps some games we both enjoy are:
Bang! (Card and dice version of game)
King of New York
BattleCON: Devastation of Indines
The Resistance: Avalon
Based on what we don't like in games would you all recommend we stay away from any of the following games?:
Legendary Encounters: An Alien Deck Building Game
Summoner Wars: Master Set
Chaos in the Old World
The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game
Thanks in advance.

I am BGG's official honey trap
Well Summoner Wars was what I was going to recommend before I saw you had a list.
Quite competitive but a cheap buy in if you get a 2 faction set.
I can't see your lover enjoying Five Tribes.
Just playing games with the two of you or will there be more players?
You may want to consider adding and rating your collection:

Thanks for your input, I will try adding my collection tonight. We would prefer games that could support up to 4-5 people since we have several friends that sometimes come over to play, but in general we will consider anything for 2+ players.
If you don't like narrative elements, I think Eldritch Horror has a high potential to fall flat.
