Hey there,

i know there are lot of games which are storydriven.
i am searching for a Game where u are not create the Story.
I would like to whether there are Games out there with a story driven content simillar to Mice and Mystics.

Or better where the story is driven but you can take choices in the story path. Like Story Cards in Fallen or Android (Personal).

Thank you in advance

best wishes

I haven't at played one "chapter" of Mansions of Madness
And it seems to hold a lot of promise for telling a story as you go.

If you want more of exactly the same, mice and Mystics has a couple of great expansions

For more cooperative campaign stories, Galaxy Defenders and Sword & Sorcery are probably your best bet. S&S is unreleased, but hopefully soon... The late pledge option might still be available though.

I'm also interested in this kind of games, but I've found very few so far.

Some that can be interesting are:

[bGloom of Kilforth[/b]: a founded kickstarter, but you can still join for a copy. Still to be delivered.

The new Arkham Horor Card Game: it seems very similar to the Lord of the Rings LCG, which I love, but improving the decisions and consequences part, that LOTR LCG lacked.

Both Descent and Star Wars: Imperial Assault both have a campaign that evolves around the outcome of previous adventures. Haven't played any of both, mind you, but they are pretty solid games.

Mansions of Madness, which I love, has no campaign mode: every adventure starts anew.

Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective is a great game, but it really is a conceptual change from "typical" boardgames.

I'm eager to hear from other people's experience. As far as rules-light-story-telling games go, Mice & Mystics is one of a kind (AFAIK).

Does Tail Feathers fit the bill? I know it is the same universe as M&M. But how much carryover of the story mechanics are there?

Try Gloomhaven. The deeds have huge influence on the game.
