Hi All,

My sons 7th birthday approaching so it is my question: is this game OK to play with 7 year old kid? He is surround by games all his life but I am trying to introduce something more complex (we have recently played Cyclades and he was surprisingly good). He loves everything dinosaurs...

Thanks

I know the designer has taught kids 8 to 10 year old to play, and he noted they particularly enjoy having the raptors or the T-Rex eat their father's dinosaurs!

I believe a 7 year old could enjoy the game. The rules are not overly difficult. Deeper strategy would come later. Best if you know someone with a copy that you could try and see if the game sparks his imagination. If not, still might be worth the chance, as its a very solid game with great production values as well.

It is an area control game with a lot of "take that" in competitive play. (So is chess, for that matter!)

My nephew enjoyed playing Triassic Terror when he was 7. Not too complex for him. Solid game.
