What are the rules for clear sight through spaces behind other figureS? Can you summon units behind other figures? I imagine that the Eldrazi Ruiner automatically block all line of sight?

For targeting, if you can see any part of the figure's hit zone from the attacker's perspective, you have LOS.

For summoning, if you can see ANY part of the summoned figure from the summoner's perspective, it is in what's called a clear sight space.

Both of these instances you'll have to bend down and look from behind your attacker/summoner to determine LOS. It doesn't matter if terrain or figures are between the two spaces. Just if you can see a part of the attacked or summoned figure.

The game uses actual like of sight, similar to a lot of tabletop wargames. If you can see the grey part shown on the units card when looking from the perspective of a model by looking from where the dot which is shown on that units card, you have line of sight.

Place a laser pointer near the point of observation. Activate the laser and point it at the target. If you can hit the target with the beam, you have line of sight.

Laser pointers are available at most Dollar/Dollar Tree stores.

As always, use caution when using lasers. Do not point them into eyes or on to reflective surfaces.
