I was discussing the game with GF9 and took the opportunity to inquire about new expansions. Here's what they had to say:

I thought it would be a funny coincidence if GF9 was located in a town named after Jubal Early (confederate general, a distant relative of Nathan Fillion, whom Joss named the bounty hunter character after). But alas, the town was named after John Early (although the two might be related, as they're both from the central virginia area)

Here's hoping they round out the decks that are below 60 cards and add several new Misbehaves (embracing expansions through Kalidasa).

I think Breakin' Atmo was 50 cards, yes?

I'd love to see a breakdown like this:

20 Misbehaves
10 new supply cards - 5 each for Beaumonde and Meridian
20 new Jobs - 5 each for Lord Harrow, Magistrate Higgins, Mister Universe, and Fanty & Mingo

Or else a ship pack or two.

Good point, forgot about the bounties. We could certainly use Bounty Cards for those sneaky fugitives going without...

That would round up everything.

Fingers crossed!

I hope it's something more interesting than ship expansions. Jetwash and Esmeralda were OK, but I found the cards they came with were more interesting than the ships themselves.
I'm hoping it's another type of expansion, a la Pirates & Bounty Hunters.

Don't go down that path; before you know it we'll all be talking about shuttles, co-op play and a campaign story app. Then, after all the rampant speculation it'll turn out to be a base so our little dinosaurs can stand up.

Then let the rampant speculation begin!

Maybe they'll offer a specially packaged version of the dinosaur minis used in the show.

I'd love to see a Developers'-Kit. Ideas for what it might include:

Blank cards (with various backs)
Browncoat Alert Tokens
50-credit "coins"
Wounded markers
Shuttle Tokens
Special Cargo Tokens (numbered 1-20 in one color, and 20-1 in another on the reverse)
Blank Story cards
Debt tokens
Satellite/Skyplex tokens

What do they all do? Who knows? That's for us to figure out. But the kit would be stuff that we could use to do it.

Hmm! I've been something of a completist so far, but to be honest I think I prefer my custom tokens.

Okaaaay... tokens that are visually indistinguishable from the ones that come with the game... and only enough for one player... and for $15

Something tells me the guys at GF9 no longer have their thumb on the pulse of the needs of the fans.

I mean what were they thinking?
