This may have been discussed over the past several months, but I realized today that the impact player structure of the two unrevealed teams can be inferred from the pledge levels to name players.

The Spaceships have 4 impact players: 3, 5, 6, 7. One skill each.
I'm guessing we'll see either Interceptor or Zone Defender, a passer skill (perhaps QB Read), a block-related skill, and Team Player.

The Yellow Jackets have a 3 and a 7. I love the wide split, and I'm hoping for two Star () players to emphasize that dichotomy. No idea how abilities might pair - but I think Offense-oriented would be a neat set to see.

I am guessing a lineman, #33, and a QB, #7 (based on Mark Brunell).

Interestingly we can also infer from the pledge rewards that Brent and his playtest group have already snapped up:

MIA Sushi #31
KC Chefs #3_
DAL Bulls #6_
NY Gorillas #7_
MIN Ragnarok #65
NO Ankhs #6_
TB Trucks #6_

Or were these early backers to the first kickstarter who were retrospectively removed even from the pledges for that campaign?

Edit 19 Sep: added Ragnarok player number I found out from the Periscope video
Edit 22 Sep: added Sushi player number I found in the Images section

Not the last case; those backers (including myself) still needed slots to back the project this time. Playtest group sounds like a good guess.

Thinking through QB stuff, it occurs to me that "Gunslinger" is sadly missing from the ability list.

This is one of the most interesting threads yet. You guys are pretty good at this, but you'll have to wait to see the previews to see how close you are regarding team composition.

There are some playtesters in that group and the 3D artist that created the card stands.

Unless I'm mistaken, its the Spaceships who are the players in the first bit of 'Stretch Goals' on the Kickstarter page, right? This confirms they have #5 and #66 in their lineup.

Okay, so we know that the Spaceships have a single digit five. And I've noticed that the lowest numbered single digit player is always the one who's supposed to take the snap. So that's cool, having a 5 for a QB, and it kind of makes sense for Fitzpatrick. Hope he has QB read as his skill.

For the others, the 7 probably has lockdown, the 6 spin, and the 3 team player.

Spaceships are posted in their own thread... and they've been added to the star player list.

One more team to go!

Zone Defender (66), check
Pocket Passer (5), check
Team Player (33), check
Spin (7): bzzzzt

Still, it was pretty close. The pocket passer on the 5 threw you off I think.

Yeah, that was a high-to-low guess with a Namathesque improvisational QB.
