Hi,
first I want to say this GAME IS AWESOME! and share April (feel free to jump this section share and jump to questions below.. but ... )

APRIL what a love and hate relation!!! Those bloody faded ones are sooooooo bad.
this game we started by quarantine a few yellow (our coda) because we lost march x1 due to them, so we realized how bad can it go if no deal with somehow, and that seem to be the way to go. Then we got luck and we had no yellow cubes and like 5 quarantines tokens when THE FADED came along.
We manage to cure 2, eradicate one, we chose that vs quarantine Los Angeles... I mean the likelihood of LA coming from the botton with an epidemic and then chaining before we get to it, is pretty low... eerrmmm.... 2 turns later... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
3 cards drawn in prior turn for infection, then last epidemic card and Los Angeles from the bottom... errrmmm... we only have 4 cards to reshuffle... NOOOOOOOOOOOO... LOL LOL
LA >> syndey, Chicago and san Francisco.. FADED city LOL LOL
then we won... but WOW, just WOW.. lol
we learn? always, always prioritize the faded cities before any other outbreak! lol lol

QUESTIONS:
1. so we started playing with "the researcher" and gave her the "co-worker" with "quarantine girl" and we noticed we might rely on her a bit in the future, so making sure I get that ability right.
The research can pass ANY card OF any city FROM ANY place in the board(no in same city or city being pass) to the quarantine AND this can be trigger by the researcher as well as the quarantine`s turn as long as the researching is the one PASSING and NO taking. Right? if not please explain.

2. Medic: second ability reads "automatically remove cubes of cured disease from the city you are in (and prevent them from being placed there)"
so...
Lets say medic is in Chicago, blue was cured. And there are x blue in Atlanta, x blue in washingtown, x blue in Madrid, x blue in paris
On his turn the medic: Chicago > 1st action move to > Atlanta > 2nd action move to > washingtown > 3rd action move to madrid > 4th action move to Paris.

By passing through these countries (Atlanta, DC, madrid, paris) he removes all the cubes there, WITH NO action needed and just by passing through (no need to end or start there) yea?

thanks

I cant wait for MAY next week

If I understand you correctly, you're right on both counts.

The Researcher can pass any card to her co-worker on either of their turns, regardless of what cities they're in or what card it is. The co-worker can pass cards to the Researcher, but one of them must be in the city on the card passed (this can happen on either of their turns as well.)

The Medic removes cubes of cured diseases for free, and is great for quickly clearing out danger spots just by moving through them once they're cured.

sweet! and thanks for the fast reply

man, I cant play till Thursday again.. and is the only thing I can think of now.. LOL

also... we played January and Feb with 2 characters, but we wanted to have them interact more and play with the different abilities, hence we played march and april with 4 character (2p 2character each).. is it more difficult with 4 players? or it was just the gradual increase that happen with march and april? (mainly curious, march x1 was the only game we lost so far)

Base game Pandemic is definitely easier with fewer characters. It's not entirely clear whether Legacy is easier throughout with fewer characters - when you need to complete 3 objectives, having someone who specialises in one of those objectives, but balances that by being terrible at others works when you have enough characters that the others can pick up the slack on the other objectives, but is a problem with only 2 characters. Some argue that the reduced need for co-ordination with 2 characters still trumps the increased specialisation of 4, but it's not a settled question (and may never be since settling it would need someone to play the campaign through a lot of times with different player counts)
