Hello,

Thank you to the designers, artists, publishers, and the Kickstarter backers for making this game happen.

I discovered Grifters last name at my local game store and instantly saw its greatness. From theme, to individual cards, to card mechanics, it offers players choices and excitement. I viewed Zee Garcia's video review for the game and noted that he expressed a desire for an expansion with more specialists and jobs. I thought about the game all day today and feel like in its current state it deserves a B+. I would like to see and play this game at the A+ level by the creators offering a small expansion that incorporates a meta-game element where players also have instant-action cards in their hands that they can play at any second during their or another player's turn. I feel like with that extra layer of decision making and gameplay, Grifters would elevate to evergreen, long-term success and printing.

For example, I would like to play Grifters with an instant-action card in my hand that allows me to block a specialist from joining a team. Thematically, this card would represent the police or rival gang intercepting a specialist en route to a job.

I have written a short list of instant-action cards for the designers review:

1. Target specialist in the discard pile returns to night one hideout.
2. Target specialist gains an additional job-color icon.
3. Target completed job goes back to the bottom of the availabe stack.
4. Target player gains 3 money pieces.
5. Target player brings specialist back into hand.

Thank you for your consideration.

I thought that secret objectives for bonus money at the end of the game might be a fun expansion idea. In close games the last few turns with my friends usually boil down to adding up everyone's money to inch out the win, I think a hidden goal could help that. Fantastic game though as is.

I love a lot about this game, but it doesn't feel like there are many choices. That may be something I don't see with only four plays so far, and I'm happy to keep playing and learn more.

I might be bringing deck building baggage to this game, but having an option for thinning your hand would be nice. Some specialists you draw might not fit with the rest of your hand, so they sometimes feel like dead weight.

Having an area control mechanism would let you use those cards to control something in the game.

For instance, instead of putting specialists from the refresh back in your hand, you could move them near one of the stacks of jobs. The effects of controlling a stack would be an interesting balance challenge, but ideas could include getting kickbacks from players when they complete a job or increasing the difficulty of completing jobs.
