There is only two version;
Academy - quick streamline version (20-30min)
Arena - more strategic with board (75 - 120min)
And a subset of the second version:
Domination - basically Arena, but played on a modular board comprised of tiles that include terrain, and with an additional win condition (you can still kill the other mage, but you could win without killing the other mage if you achieve a specified number of
victory points "V'tar"). It's more conducive to multiplayer free-for-alls and team play. Kind of feels a bit like "capture the flag" where you need to acquire and hold objectives defended by NPC's and/or snatch them away from your opponents - or you can choose to ignore the objectives and kill the other mage(s) before they achieve another win condition.
