How exactly do replacements work in Sicily II? There are no PAX/EQ counters with the game as far as I can see. So are replacements made directly onto units which are close enough on map to an HQ, and are units from the dead pile brought back to life in proximity to an HQ or onto the Toe holding box?

I presume air replacements can be made directly at any airfield?

And when a Coastal Defence unit has surrendered and been placed in the dead pile, can it be brought back as a replacement?

Hello!

As per Sicily II rules:

- German, in any off-map box or Italy's Toe or at any available port not in enemy ZOC (2.1b)
- Allied force, Tunisia box (3.1b)
No Repls can be saved for later.

Yes, for air repls.

For CD units: rule 2.6b says on 1-4 put in Dead Pile, so is possible, but immo replacing the italian CD in that Campaign will be your last problem ...
