Looking good there Ben! I like the simplicity of it so far and its compact approach, so you're nailing the Tin theme. Its definitely more approachable when a player can get an overview on the game on a single piece of paper. Question is if players might understand the rules better if some more pages were used with simple illustrations that could visually explain them. Just thinking out loud here, hope you find the feedback useful

I downloaded and printed the rules but was having problems with printing the tiles for some strange reason. Would it be possible to make the files in pdf format?
If not, I will try again tommorow but my only access to a printer is at work and so I was having problems printing from the old school windows "image viewer" program.

I just finished printing and cutting the tiles, hope to get a play done later today.

I would like to make a suggestion for this, and really for any PnP creators that are making backing sheets for cards. Because of the difficulty in getting the fronts and backs to line up perfectly, could creators eliminate the use of border lines on the backs of cards? By not including borders on the backs, once I print front and back on one sheet I use the border lines on the front to cut out the cards and now the backs appear to line up perfectly. I have included an example of what I mean regarding border-less backs below.

As you can see the top 2 rows would not have to be lined up perfectly with the fronts to appear to be exact, while the bottom rows would have to be lined up perfectly when printing otherwise the borders will appear off center on the back of the card. The only difficulty would be if the backs had different colors. Without a border the color would need to be slightly larger than the size of the card so that if it isn't exactly centered you still wouldn't see any white.

Anyway, just a little request from someone who loves printing out and trying these games!

Edit: Here is an example of how I did backs for my fan version of Friday that had colored backs. If oyu needed different colors you could change that for each card, or make a different sheet for each card color.

Yes, that is a very good idea. Now that you bring that up, I recall finding a generic back for Micropul and was very glad for it. Thank you!

I'll take what Ruharc said and take it a step further - unless it is required for the game a generic back, like a grid pattern or just a solid color, would be the best. Mintworks requires some cards to line up halfway decently, resulting in printing on separate sheets and gluing back to back.
If you do decide that the back is important, making some sort of symbol to follow (off the cards), such as a cross, circle, etc. that should line up front and back would help.

Thanks for the suggestions. The backs are purely optional. Here is a border-less version of the backs.
