While playing our first scenarios, we've made some assumptions :

- Railways are equivalent to roads for moving purpose (rules are silent about railways).
- Bombardments have no effect on roads nor railways.
- When under fire, the reacting units have to decide if they will do reaction fire BEFORE resolving any fire.
- Any small piece of an hex located at a higher level than the rest of the hex and anywhere inside the hex (even along the opposite side of the hex relatively to the target) is putting any unit in that hex at that higher level.

Were we right?

Railways are NOT the same as roads for movement. They do that in strategic-level games because railways often had parallel roads which are not depicted on strategic level maps. But, those separate roads do appear on the RPC maps. That said, the rules should be edited to say that railways can keep moving units from getting lost (like a road) at night.

Bombardments have no effect on roads nor railways.

Correct. Those effects are accounted for in the map artwork of maps showing later time frames.

Correct.

Any small piece of an hex located at a higher level than the rest of the hex and anywhere inside the hex (even along the opposite side of the hex relatively to the target) is putting any unit in that hex at that higher level.

Correct.

Thanks a lot again. :-)

I really like this game engine and can't understand why it doesn't benefit yet from plenty of video tutorials and web in-depth reviews. I will continue to play it anyway, stay tight with the series and eventually do a review myself!

I'm actually a video wargame reviewer who plan to start making board wargame reviews, but it won't be next week for sure. ;-)
Here are my French wargame reviews:
