There are several sketches for future additions to Rivals: Masters of the Deep. The following are potential thoughts on there identities.

Already revealed as a Cog Clockwork Shieldbearer. Should be useful to screen units as they move across the board. Looks to have a piston jackhammer arm for close combat.

Looks to be a fast moving support troop. I love the WWI style machine gun head. They were belt fed and "water cooled" which is quite fitting.

The rivals take on the star wars destroyer droid? Slow moving heavy weapons platform. Looks to be a Cog inside rather than Clockwork.

Early concept sketches. Not sure if the chainsaw trooper made the cut (pun intended).

New Cog hero. Probably a close combatant due to the short range blunderbuss and bayonet.

Nautilus bushwhacker. Seems to have a more feral native look. Perhaps infiltrators or berserkers.

Fast flanking sea horse riders! AWESOME! Get them around behind the opposition to split their fire.

A second type of shamen with differing abilities or stats?

Female honor guard? Probably as fierce as amazon warriors.

Seems to be originally alternate art for Algernon and Eleanor but definate possibilities for new heroes. The tiki mask could be a bushwhack leader while the female with dual long swords would make a great captain of the honor guard.

Great collection of concept art. I certainly hope that the "Darth Vader" helmet character with the sword makes it into the game. No clue what faction he is meant for but that sketch just rocks!

Early concept sketches plus what looks to be a Quilled foot soldier. Close combat grunt for the Low Clans? Could one of the sketches be our first look at a Reefscale? That's the only race of Low Clan that has not been revealed.

Quilled Elite. Combat ninjas of the Low Clans!

Not sure if this is a Low Clans honor guard or our first Quilled hero? Love the gladiator style helm and weapons.

Most of the current Ancient heroes are represented. Might be a new hero here.

Another future release. No clue what it does or how it differs from the other Lurkers.

Razorfin concept art. Perhaps Chase is a fan of the Razorbacks?
