I was wondering when we are going to see either of these??
The game is supposed to come out at the end of October and we really know nothing of gameplay.
I hope we hear something official soon.

Try asking on the Jasco Facebook page, they are fast in responding.

I asked tonight about the game and got an immediate response that it is still on schedule for an October release, and that preorders will be sent out the moment they arrive at their warehouse, no matter how early they arrive compared to the release date.

I just asked about rules or anything. We'll see what they say. Probably nothing, but worth a try.

Rulebook is online!

I don't know why every page has a white line through it...
*edit* it depends on what PDF-viewer you watch it, Acrobat shows a copyright text, which makes the text easier to read.

Gameplay video (sneak peek) is online!

Thanks for sharing. Video looks good and the art is not half bad. Time to start reading the rulebook ^^

After reading the rules, it really does look like a simpler arkham horror.

Protecting the townies is an interesting way to delay the 'doom' track, as there is not a gate mechanism equivalent. There's no money, so digging for items is easier, I assume they'll be more use-and-discard than AH was since they seem so easy to acquire?

I think the replay value is really going to come from just how many different creature-of-the-week cards and/or big-bad plot cards come in the decks.

If it keeps to a 45 min play time, it might be a winner when there's just not enough time to get AH out. Or it might be too simplistic on the decision making. Looking forward to seeing some gameplay footage.

For those that think the game will never be released, here's an unboxing video that was posted yesterday.

So I guess at least one copy exists somewhere .
