This one's been cheap on Amazon lately too - $25 shipped with Prime from multiple third party sellers, and if QB's gets it back in stock then it wouldn't even need Prime.

Saves a buck over Miniaturemarket.com if you are a one-game-at-a-timer like me. Not that I bought Antarctica - I just like to keep in in my cart and pretend I own a game that would never get played in my house. It has very few gems, spaceships, or monsters.

This is the same artist that did AquaSphere. I am always getting this confused with Siberia.

The art and the bits and the theme and the price really pull me in but the bgg rating really pushes me back.

I recently acquired this game and found the rulebook vague and confusing. I'd appreciate the opinion of anyone who has played it on if I should bother trying to decipher it or not.

May or may not help, but I did a review of it just last week or so.

I found it to be just okay. It wasn't that hard to learn once I applied myself and it's best learned through play, honestly, because that rule books isn't great. You can read the review, but I found it to be too much like other euros without much special to set it apart. I think it would be good for someone who's new to euros and who can still get that "wow" factor. For those who've played tons and are more jaded, it's kind of more of the same. It might also be good for people looking to move from lighter games to heavier because it is one of the easier middle weight euros to learn and understand and it is attractive and draws people in.

Overall, I think it has a pretty specific audience. Some will love it and some will not. (Oh, and it's pretty mean, so if that bugs you...)
