Is the box for this game the normal LCG size (ie. Netrunner, LotR etc.), or is it the small one (ie. Warhammer Quest, Elder Sign, Blood Bowl etc.)?

It will be the LCG regular box. I tried to find an official info on their site but failed at that. Still, pictures like this one - https://boardgamegeek.com/image/3124918/arkham-horror-card-g...
pretty much prove it.

It is the new LCG size used for Conquest and A Game of Thrones.

Approximately 10 inches square.

That's a bummer, the GoT box feels like it was designed by someone who hated cards. It's just too small to stand cards on their side, so you have to make stacks, and the insert blocks off a ton of room, so you have to remove it and just deal with cards flying everywhere.

I really wish FFG made bigger, game-specific storage options. I'd love to be able to have my LCGs stored in thematic boxes, but they just get too big too fast. I'd love to see something like the Smash Up Big Geeky Box, but with Game of Thrones or Arkham artwork.

8 of the plastic ultra-pro deck boxes fit perfect in the small lcg boxes. Cheap and tidy!

Not according to the measurements in the Version info.
It seems to be the regular square box size.

Unless this man is a giant, it is going to be the smaller box size:

Possible, but I am going off what I saw at Gen Con.

The new deluxe expansion boxes are not sturdy two-piece designs anymore. Just a cheap thin tuck box. I really miss the old lcg packaging. The clam shells, small core boxes, and diminished quality deluxe boxes all sadden me quite a bit.

Which one was that? My Flame of the West box was the same as usual.

Reviving this thread since we now should have eyewitness evidence.

Is this a normal depth box, or smaller (it looks smaller in the pictures)? Will card stand up horizontally in it? Will dividers fit as well?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks.

Unfortunately the answer is 'no' at this point. The box is bigger than a deluxe expansion but smaller than the core set for LOTR and Netrunner. Cards will NOT stand up in them.

I'm sure it doesn't matter to you but I don't mind. I've got two core sets baggied up at this point and will eventually replace the boxes and bags with something else (something I've done with every other card game that has grown big).

I do also find this a bit disappointing but alas...

Edit: it's an Elder Sign/Disk Wars box size.

FFG moved to a new range of box sizes, the first LCG to use it was Conquest, then GOT2.0, so you can use those boxes to compare sizes.

FFG needs to take a lesson from Greater Than Games (Sentinel Comics): ample card storage AND dividers AND oversized villain cards included with Sentinels of the Multiverse!

I think it would be impossible for them to make the core set box size large enough to cater for: all cards from 2 core sets, plus all cards from multiple cycles. Even a Pathfinder TACG size box would be too small to be "future proof".
