Add Due Process to the list of Constitutional rights that Trump hates.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the GOP candidate for President:
Quote:
Donald Trump said at a campaign rally Monday that it's "sad" that the suspect in the weekend bombings in New York and New Jersey will receive medical attention and legal representation.

The GOP presidential nominee told a crowd near Fort Myers, Fla., that it was due to the work of law enforcement that the "evil thug who planted the bombs" was caught. Ahmad Khan Rahami was arrested Monday after being injured in a gun battle with police in Linden, N.J. He is suspected to have planted pressure-cooker bombs over the weekend that injured 29 people in New York's Chelsea neighborhood.

"But the bad part," Trump continued, "now we will give him amazing hospitalization. He will be taken care of by some of the best doctors in the world. He will be given a fully modern and updated hospital room. And he'll probably even have room service, knowing the way our country is."

He added, "And on top of all that, he will be represented by an outstanding lawyer. His case will go through the various court systems for years and, in the end, people will forget and his punishment will not be what it once would have been. What a sad situation. We must have speedy, but fair trails and we must deliver a just and very harsh punishment to these people."

Should we deny the suspect medical care and legal representation?

Well lets see, it is bad that he will get proper medical and legal representation and that needs to be dealt with.

Maybe he dose not say he should not receive it at all (always hard to tell with Donny what he is really saying), he does say what he is getting is too good for him.

He clearly wants the suspect to have inferior medical attention and legal support. He therefore thinks he should be denied good medical support and legal support.
As for the room service argument, last time I looked only third world hospitals don't feed the patients.
In the UK a politician would not say this stuff as it is now sub judice.
Do you not accept that the guy is entitled to a fair trial?

I posted exactly what Trump said and then asked the question if it should be denied. You know about asking questions. It's one of your favorite things!

Hillary speaks pretty standard politician. Some real promiss mixed with some potentially broken oromises, with some right out hollow ones. It's very easy to read.

Trumpspeak is a mixture of lies, and much more significantly innuendo. It's probably how he got pegged as a negotistor, he gives people enough to draw their own conclusions without directly offering anything. It's also easy to interpret once you get the hang of it.

Give me a short speech by either and I'll translate them.

Do you think it's sad? I think it's awesome! We have a thing called presumption of innocence, but irregardless of even that: a guilty person should have medical care and legal representation available.

I think Trump just shat on the 5th, 6th, and 8th Amendments. That could be a new record for him.

The RSP moonbats are getting a bit unhinged. They should be up 70/30 in this election and its closer then ever. Look for more nutty posts like this in the coming weeks.

Everything is racist, sexist or homophobic from now until the election.

Trump is saying that it's sad that the suspect in the weekend bombings in New York and New Jersey will receive medical attention and legal representation.

That does not seem so hard to understand. The man became an enemy combatant, tried to kill US citizenry and inspire terror in the name of his nutty religion and yet will now be given the full benefits of the very thing he is trying to destroy.

That's unexpected.
Just because Obama doesn't, doesn't mean the rest of us don't. I think one thing that progressives have been unhappy with is the due process issues with things like Drone murders of citizens. When it comes to National Defense, Obama has clearly turned a deaf ear to his far left progressive wing.

Doesn't "sad" is this context mean something terrible? and maybe they shouldn't get those things? You don't have say something verbatim for the underlying meaning to be crystal clear. At best, it was a dog whistle to his minions.

Firstly US citizens, but also non-citizens to a less stringent extent. I make the delineation between them because the ability to assassinate citizens without due process allows for government abuse towards political opponents. The same is true of International diplomacy, but that doesn't undermine our system of government by eliminating democracy here where we need it to control our own politicians.

I'm not feigning outrage, I've spoke out against due process offenses by Obama multiple times as the threads came up. LeeDambis and I had a lengthy debate the last time a US citizen who was begging for due process was assassinated by drone. I didn't vote for Obama and I'm not voting for Clinton because they are too conservative. I won't support Clinton's presumed continued use of drones for assassinations either.
