Hi I have just received a used copy of the game. While going through the components, I found that 1 of the Treasure of the Pharaoh, denomination 10, is missing.

Does it affect gameplay or can I live with the missing token?

Right.

It's pretty much like losing one piece of Monopoly money.

In this game, your money (talents) is secret, so the absence of one piece may make it marginally easier for an opponent to know how much you have.

But given that you are missing only one out of 108 pieces overall (and one of the 20 10-talent pieces), it seems extremely unlikely that it would make any difference at all.

I agree, its just 1 money. However, you can always look at those trading parts.

I had to get this game used myself over a year ago, since it is OOP. It was in new condition, but was missing 3 pieces. I was able to trade for those pieces. Now my set is complete.

I traded some promos for another game for them. I was very happy!

Thanks for the response. I got the game for relatively cheap, so I was debating whether to return it due to the missing piece.

Looks like I am good to keep it.
