+1! I sincerely hope PSC has learned from the sometimes negative reactions from people who purchased The Great War in regard to the so called 'bayonet problem'. For me personally the wooden playing pieces found in Quartermaster General and its expansions sure had a lot of appeal.

Where the heck did this interest in WW1 come from?

No 'bayonet' problems with the Victory or Death miniatures. Rather the figures were a bit bendy and, I'm afraid to say, small and a bit cheap looking. I preferred the wooden pieces with the original QMG.

I hope the 1914 game will be a step up in quality from VoD.

A phalanx of Greek hoplites with fixed bayonets coming to you must have been a terrifying sight. whistle

Wow, I had rather hoped to see a Napoleonic version before WWI, but okay.

Any news about a Napoleonic quartermaster general project?
I believed Ian Brody talked about that but I do not remember exactly.
