Just downloaded the "Panzer Leader" rules as posted by Chalepec and also the starter set with the counters provided by Joeyeti. Looks like an interesting wargame...

I coudldn't find the the official 4 maps A, B, C and D as printable PDFs in the file section.

Are these available somewhere?

Why not buy the actual game? Used copies generally go for very cheap. I just bought a second copy the other day for about $15 including shipping.

Thanks for the link.

Would love to buy a copy, but outside the US this is almost impossible to get.

Does this game still have an actively playing community?

Thanks for the link. If I get this right the scenarios are focused on the west front?

Yes, it does. You have the Imaginative Stategist link that John provided above. In addition, if you are on Facebook, join the Panzer Blitz/Leader/A.I.W Group to see activity.

And yes, Panzer Leader is western front. Panzer Blitz came out first and is eastern front. Later came Arab-Israeli Wars, using the same basic system. I don't own AIW but many think it improved the basic system.

With AIW you are referring to the rules of the the "Arab-Israeli Wars" in the same series?

You might be interested to know that another player has updated the Panzerblitz / Panzer Leader rules and shared them with the community for free.

Check out this link:

http://www.relativerange.com/tactical-gamex

These updated rules use the original components for PB / PL too.

I would also recommend the site www.gregpanzerblitz.com, which builds on the work Ward did on imaginative strategist.
