If a player says all others to remove a snow card from hand, can someone remove a hard knock card from hand with a snow icon? I think the card mustnot be hard knock.

If a player has the Trauma card about snow, that player may indeed discard it from a speech. However, that's only if the card is in hand and not yet played. If the card is on the table in front of them, then a speech can't discard it, only support will help.

You sure?
We interpreted the rules the other way.

Yes. Because the rules say so explicitly, see the FAQ section at the end of the rules, no need to interpret anything

I think that the confusing thing here is that the (English) rules use the term "Threat" to refer to two different things.

For one, a Threat is one of six challenges (night, rain, shell, snow, mask, whistle) that players face during a mission.

For another, a Threat is one of the two types of cards in Trials deck (the other being a Hard Knock).

The section on page 6 for "Play a Trials card from their hand" uses the second sense: "If the card is a Threat it is added to No Man’s Land, in the middle of the table. If it’s a Hard Knock, it is assigned to the player and immediately takes effect."

In that case, a Threat is a Trials card that is not a Hard Knock card.

The section on "Use a Good Luck Charm" also refers only to Threat cards (and not Hard Knocks) - because it specifically mentions No Man's Land (which never contains Hard Knocks).

In contrast, the section on "Make a Speech" (on the same page) pertains to Threats more generally (the first sense). This is suggested by the language "a single card from their hand which contains that Threat."

As has been pointed out, this alternative reading is made definitive in the clarifications on page 11: "The Speeches allow other players to discard from their hand a Trauma or a Phobia with the corresponding Threat." (The Hard Knock cards that contain a Threat care called Trauma and Phobia, depending on the nature of Threat.)

Beneath this mask there is an idea.....and ideas are bulletproof.

So just to clarify - a Speech allows a non-withdrawn player to discard from their hand any trial card ('Hard Knock' or straight Threat) showing the particular threat named by the player doing the Speech.
