I went ahead ordered the Footlocker set.
Curious about what rules changes there will be from the original Warfighter.
Very little changes to the core rules, except:
Hand to Hand - Melee rules have been significantly changed - to allow the WF system to expand into melee intensive themes.
Machineguns can be deployed on Bipods and/or Tripods for sustained fire (as opposed to the walking fire of WF Spec Forces). This change means that your fire team's or squad's LMG will be able to provide the suppressing fire for your assault troops.
(Play Test hint - in any game of more that 30 RP an LMG is a "must buy" - be it an NPS with one or a PS, greatly helped by a NPS or Squad soldier loader - the LMG will form the basis of your Fire for "Fire and Manouver" - as it did in WW2. Alternative fire support can come from Rifle Grenades or Rocket Launchers or Light Mortars).

ps. Expect 20% casualties and failed mission - even while WF WW2 is based on your soldiers having the initiative (as they do in WF Spec For) - the hostiles are front line troops and if you give them the chance they can be deadly.
