Hi there,

Can you tell me your favourite "pick up and deliver" game that plays in the 60-90 minute time frame?

So far, I have looked at:
Via Nebula
Kings of Air and Steam
Chicago Express

I've played Via Nebula a couple of times now and it took me by surprise. A very good game!

I'd add The Great Heartland Hauling Co. to the list!

Chicago Express is a fantastic game. But there's no pick up and deliver there. There is route building and implied transportation (your income raises because 'stuff is being transported'), but no actual transportation is happening.
Haven't played the others, so I can't comment on them.

Steam features both route building and pick up and deliver and plays in around 90-120 minutes, so maybe slightly longer than you're looking for.

Both good games, but you'd be lucky to finish either in under 90 minutes...especially Firefly.

No, I wasn't. I was moving a game piece around a oblique polygon shaped track.

I like Hansa.
It is pretty light & the long term replay I think is minimal, but under 90 minutes is definitely achievable.

Firefly Is probably my favorite but it can suffer from long play times.

If everyone is clear on rules & objectives and you play the quickest scenario I can see an under 90 minute playtime.
I have however played plenty of games that stretched into the 3-4 hour zone due to AP and just some bad luck.
I consider the playtime quite variable.

Merchant of Venus (second edition) could make it under 90 minutes again if all players are familiar with the rules & map. 30 turns in a game means everyone must be pretty efficient with their turns and 1 AP prone player can really slow it down.
