That's a Palm Pilot on the left, and a pink iPod mini on the right. Yes, I've been doing BGTG that long!

I've owned a few copies of this game, and note that some copies have skinnier gold cylinders than others. The skinny ones tip over more than the squatter ones. I'm away from my copy, though. Could a couple people measure the diameter of their gold cylinders so that I can find the best replacements from spielmaterial.de? The better-fitting ones are almost the diameter of the holes in the player reference card. The taller ones are notably narrower.

The cylinders in my copy are 8 mm in diameter, whereas the holes in the player cards are 9 mm in diameter. In my view the cylinders tip over quite easily, but unfortunately I have no frame of reference.

Here's the better size, with the shorter cylinders.

And here's the best photo I could find of the other kind, that are too tall (and smaller in diameter).

I could have thought of taking a picture myself.

Comparing the images I would guess that mine are the thicker ones.

I've got the skinny kind and I measure them at 5mm. Now that I know the better ones are out there, I'll have to go find a replacement as well?

This is based on edition:

Well, it's not that big of a deal. But yeah, the shorter ones are nicer.

I plopped some gold "acrylic chunks" into the bag to give a try next time. They kinda nestle in there well, we'll see.

I have the skinny ones too - This thread inspired me to improve them. I found some gold coloured metal cubes that sit quite happily in the holes
