Chancellor Palpatine watches alone and with satisfaction from his office as another division of clone warriors, complete with its Jedi commander, move out towards the war.
‘Another Jedi off to war. Good, Good.’ He glances at the Executive Summary of the status of the war that was just given to him by Master Windu. ‘These battles mean nothing.’ Palpatine says to himself. ‘They are just a tool to scatter the Jedi across the Galaxy, so that I may mold my future young apprentice with as little interference as possible. Anakin is the key. Once I have him, I will wipe out the Jedi with one swift stroke…’ Darth Sidious then leaves his office to see the latest ‘tool’ he had made via his ability to shape events to his liking, General Grievous…
Meanwhile, in another part of the city another master of the Force is reflecting on events since the start of the Clone Wars a few months ago…
‘Believe it, I still do not.’ Master Yoda says to himself as he moves to his meditation room. ‘Had Master Windu not heard it as well, hallucinating, I would have thought.’
Right before the start of the Clone Wars, Masters Yoda and Windu could feel through the Force that Anakin Skywalker had experienced an event that caused him great pain (the death of Anakin’s mother). As Anakin gives in to the Pain and Suffering that leads him to the Dark Path, a voice from the Force cries out to Anakin to try and stop him before he slaughters the tribe of raiders that killed his mother. A voice that Yoda and Mace Windu could hear while meditating together…
It was the voice of Qui-Gon Jinn, who had been dead for 10 years.
Qui-Gon had an interesting career. Powerful he was with the Force and, under Count Dooku, had mastered two lightsaber fighting techniques. In his prime, he may have been a more powerful fighter than Master Windu and certainly would have been more than a match for Darth Maul who killed him 10 years ago. However, Qui-Gon had never sat on the Jedi Council, due to his views of the Force.
Other Jedi would lose themselves in the meditation of the unifying Force, however Qui-Gon lived for the moment. This philosophy had kept him from the Council. However, his philosophy of ‘feel, don’t think, use your instincts’ made him more in tune with the Force than Yoda and others had known.
Via his philosophy Qui-Gon had discovered how to preserve his identity in the Force after death. He had learned this without the Council’s knowledge. Now Yoda was able to communicate with Qui-Gon when meditating and Qui-Gon was teaching Yoda his philosophy and methods…
‘After all these years,’ thought Yoda as he sat down in his meditation room ‘a Padawan learner again, am I….’
Lynch 8PM BGG (Longest Held Last Vote) Night Orders 9PM BGG Start: July 9th Players: 28
Each player will be given a secret Jedi identity and powers. This includes each evil player which will be given a random good identity (with powers) as a cover. Evil is trying to kill the Jedi. Good is trying to kill Evil. A player's true identity will be revealed on death.
VC Good: Kill all evil VC Evil: Parity with good
I’ll try and keep everything balanced as far as powers go, but I'm sure to make some cool ones.
Is there a reason that Anakin himself isn't in this game?
I couldn't think of a way to make it fit the theme and the powers I'm working on so I was just going to have him in the flavor text, based on what was going on in the game. However, while typing this, I thought of the perfect way!
I'll add him when I get back in 30 mins and up the players to 28.

Anakin is being tested during the Clone Wars by Darth Sidious and Sidious is throwing different events at the Jedi to scatter them over the Galaxy so they can not help Anakin in his time of need.
All Jedi is being testing during this time. From a theme point of view, getting 'lynched' means that the Dark Side of the Force has controlled events enough to keep you from helping Anakin resist the Dark Side and may not mean 'physical' death. Some players, good or evil, may still have limited posting power after getting lynched.
Your Force powers can help you defend yourself or attack others. You can only use one power per day and different roles have different powers. Once you use a power, you can not change your mind. Powers are time dependant and only take effect after you declare them in cassie (so people don't know what power you are using).
Note: Some Jedi and Sith have powers like Force Armor and Force Immunity on at all times for free. Because they rock.
Evil can not use two 'evil' powers on a same person on the same day (ie someone can't be choked and hit by lighting on the same day). If this occurs the second person who used a power will be told via cassie and they can pick another for that day. This is also true for the Throw Lightsaber power for all players.
Evil can use Evil powers on Evil players, because they are Evil.
