I found this the other day while doing demolition work in a house in upstate New York built in the 20's. I think it's an old parlor game. It's made of wood and about the size of a kitchen drawer. If you look closely there are what appears to be different point values in each compartment. Does anyone know what this actually is?

To the OP -- is there any chance you can get back to the house to look for the spinning top(s) and little "bowling pins" that go with the main game box? It would be pretty cool to put the whole set together.

I doubt they would still be there. The previous owners were using the board in their kitchen to store cutlery.

You used to see these all over the place, in junk shops, yard sales, that kind of thing. I don't think I've seen one in 20 years.

Nice find, especially since it was used in a cutlery drawer. Maybe I'll pick up one for mine!
