Showcasing the latest wave of small ships.

If you're like me, you're excited when the new waves come out and even more excited to see how you're gonna store it.

The Protectorate is the thinnest ship made - there were no problems there:

The Arc 170s were a bit trickier, but they break apart perfectly for sectioning. It takes some cutting to place the magnets, but they turn out great.

Finally the TIE/SF - TIEs are notoriously a pain because they are so inefficient with their space. The TIE/SF however has those huge calipers on the wings, so it gave me the opportunity to do with them something I wish all the TIEs were capable of doing.

Haha! Awesome display!

I'm all about functionality though. I travel a lot and therefore like to have something that is compact. But I also like having nearly everything I own available for all possible combinations that I like to fly... Plus when I go to my local game store I can carry all my stuff in one little back pack. Its more worth it to me.

your display is great - do you have one for armada?

I guess I've seen too many people (well, more than a couple, anyway, which strikes me as 'too many') have their entire collection stolen in one go, that way. Gives me the heebie-jeebies!

I have a smaller box I use for whatever I'm bringing to the tournament day, as I knock my list out for an event over a week or so of practice, and don't make changes to it much.

For Armada, you'd definitely need to go with the larger cases, but I don't play that one.

Just plastic, actually. The smaller boxes with adjustable risers are simple $10 things from the Container Store.

The bigger boxes for the Epic-scale ships are more challenging to find.
