The following questions came up during our first real run through using the app.

-We had one person playing a Necromancer. We played one scenario where we had to search to open up new areas. When doing so, does the familiar follow us to the new area? If so, on what square do they start on since the starting tile only has room for 4? We ended up taking it along as that seemed thematically correct and had it on the same starting square as the hero.

-We had a situation where our 4 heroes were still on the starting title and we were told that a minion should spawn on the starting title. Where should it go? We just put it on an adjacent square.

-Does the master minion always re-spawn first when it is not already on the board or are there exceptions to this case?

Thanks!

I believe that this should be handled just as it would in the basic game. If you change encounters the minion would despawn and need resummoned. If you needed to activate something in the game to travel, then your minion would be left behind and stuck since they can't do such actions. In which case you'd be obliged to unsummon then resummon it. This is rather slavish obedience to the rules and much less fun than having him just follow along when his master moves to a new area.

The minion would just appear in the nearest adjacent tile, so what you did was right.

If you are to spawn something, you first have to abide by group limits (unless the app directs you otherwise, always with the exceptions this game...). If the limits allow for a master, then you're supposed to pick the master first.
