Essen is just a little over 2 weeks away!

What games do you think will sell out quickly at Essen?

Hanamikoji. Preorders are already closed (and I was surprised that took so long).

Crisis
With probably around 125 copies, might be sold out before doors open to most of us.

Scythe Probably plentyful supply, I still suspect this will sell out, at least in German.

Solarius Mission Due to limited printing and heavy preorders.

Lorenzo il Magnifico Apparently relatively small amount available with large preorder interest.

Like previously mentioned, a lot of Japanime stuff.

While Terraforming Mars will sell really well, I do not think it will sell out fast. Reason for this beeing it is sold by both fryxelius and stronghold, and stronghold are usually very well stocked.

Nothing that interests me, in any case. Apart from known small print runs and limited availabilities I'm hard-pressed to point to anything with sell-out potential. It's a very, very slow Spiel this time around.

That's also because publishers have become smarter about calculating demand, thus can judge better how many games to bring. Nobody wants their game to sell out on Thursday, they want their last box to sell late Sunday afternoon.

I think Colony too will sell out pretty quickly, as apparently the pre-orders for the copies to pick up at Essen are increasing.

The Colonists in English - I read somewhere only 300 English copies.

Covert - They've said only a few copies are available

Power Grid: The Card Game - Again not many copies in English

The Networks

Some of the TBD stuff as well as the Japon Brand stuff already mentioned.

Maybe experiences from last year could give some ideas? Mine were:

Food Chain Magnate (Splotter Spellen): Long queue from first minute.
7 Wonders Duel (Repos Production): I don't know why.
Castles of Mad King Ludwig: Secrets (Bézier Games, Inc.): I think most copies did not arrive in time.
Royal Goods (Österreichisches Spiele Museum e.V.): Buzz rush after day 1.
Potion Explosion (Horrible Games?): Buzz rush
Dilluvia Project (Spielworxx): They only print a few copies anyways.
Visby: Extra Player Pack (OSTIA Spiele): Base game was easy to get hold of.

It might be just me who thinks this, but I think Kanagawa is going to sell out at some point as well.

We planned on bringing 1000 Fields of Green to Spiel 2016, but around 700 of those have already been pre-ordered (KS and our online store) so... maybe modest
