Is a launcher space a regular movement space(seriously effects interference if not)?. I imagine it could be unpleasant to be on a launcher space when a ball is launched from it; is there a procedure that is used for determining if an athlete is injured in that instance? Is the presence of an athlete on a launcher space while a ball is launched from it simply ignored?

Hi, Chet!

A launcher space is a regular movement space.

Athletes on a launcher space do not block or interact with the launching of the ball (other than the ball can't end on an occupied space).

Thematically, the launcher blinks and makes a noise just before it's about to shoot out, giving the athlete time to avoid the speeding projectile. Otherwise it could break bones.

That would be kind of cool to have athletes on launchers get injured!

Actually we already have two home team arenas that aid in launcher injuries. Team Fury's "Jungle" arena had flame spouts in their launchers that injure adjacent and severely injure any athlete stupid enough to stand over it. Team Gruesomes "Lab" arena has lighting arcs traveling through certain launchers that will certainly drop low toughness athletes.

Location, location, location plays greatly into all the home team arenas. New challenges, new gameplay options, and new strategies! So excited!
