I would like to start with this game.
What is the best starting point in the many editions of the game?

I have opportunity to buy War of Indines.
Is it a good starting point?

Thanks a lot for advice.

There is a 2nd edition called War of Indines: Remastered.

There are very good odds that's what is for sale.

There is a kickstarter currently for Trials of Indines that is supposed be designed as a jump in point. It not being released yet means I can't speak to how the roster playes.

War of Indines is also a fine jump in point. Just keep in mind that there are two versions, and the first versions charasters art and stats we updated in the remastered version. Having said that the first version was good enough to spin battlecon off into the succesful series it is now, so it's not a bad option for getting into the system, just be aware that the characters in that version are outdated.

I don't think there are any more copies of First Edition left in circulation. It went out of print in 2013, after all.
