Played this today (very epic , had a great time)

Have a question. Christian start with 40 VP while Muslim with 27 VP. On turn two Mongols joined Christians, so since castles count one VP and Edessa 3, christians had 48 VP. This meant that there was a possibility that Christians could drop to 33 while Muslims climb to 42 VP ... wit both of them over their Victoy margin. What would happen in this case?

Also when counting the caste and cities of Mamluks in setup, they add 24 VP, why do they start with 27?

Thanks

20.2 If neither player meets their victory conditions the scenario ends in a draw.

In the odd event that both players meet their victory cobditions, the Christian player wins.

I counted Mamluk castles and cities and there was 28.
