Hello fellow gamers!

First of all - our group loves DoA. Its a great game!

But we are always looking for new ways, even with old games

The question is -

1 by 1 character activation variant.

When characters activated and "tapped" one by one.
(Like, for example, in Imperial Assault.)

And then, when all characters from both teams are "done" - comes the adventure phase.

Do you think, its viable/interesting/will make game more dynamic and fun?

Please, give your comments, even very short and negative, we will really appreciate it

I guess I don't understand why you'd want to do this

I've never played IA, so I can't really relate to those game mechanics.

Can you provide an example of why your variant would be better, or what problem it would fix, or what uniquely new decisions you'd get to make? If the variant didn't offer at least one of these things,I'm not sure I'd see the point.

Have you tried your variant out? If so, you should do a session report.

You need a lot more details to even make this playable. How does op fire work? How does melee work? Can you move into my space and then I can move out before you get to melee with me?
