Simple question:
Are the curses carried on from game to game?
Thank you

No. The only things carried on from game to game are in the rule book.

I'm not sure about that.

Colony ownership is carried on from game to game, right? But that's not in the rulebook.

I had this same question. In the section of the rulebook where it lists the things that carry over from game to game it says that that is only a list of starting components that carry over from game to game implying that some unlocked components carry over from game to game could as well. Colonies being the obvious example of one such unlocked component. Under curses it says the only way to remove them is through specific in game abilities.

I'm on the fence as to whether they stay from game to game. If they stay how do you know which curse goes on which ship?

There's inference in the rules stickers that speaks to that (that we thought was sufficient but clearly wasn't, hence the rules questions).

But in this case, no, curses do not stay from game to game.
