ASL - other tactical wargames call it Sir.
Beneath this mask there is an idea.....and ideas are bulletproof.
I'm a Doomtown/Cthulhu/Lord-of-the-Rings fan and am intrigued by 'The Spoils' - would this set be a good place to start, or is it best to try and pick up a box of the original black/white starter boxes? Or am I completely missing how this is structured?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Gordon,

This box is probably the best place to start if you want to really get a good feel for The Spoils. At $40 MSRP compared to the $25 MSRP from the white/black box starters, Decade is the way to go in my opinion, even if you only buy one. DoD is a stand alone expansion, so there is no need to buy the previous stuff aside from building up your cube. The cards in DoD are really powerful and you can make some strong decks just out of one box and then make those decks consistent if you purchase that second set.

I hope this helps.
