Hello, Colleagues!
Just managed to punch most of the game and cannot find out the way to store the markers. I put all the units to counter tray (it took 1 whole tray) - actually I don't think that storing them in baggies will be more compact.

Now I managed to put most of the tokens to separate baggies, but they consume quite a lot of place so I am not able to close my lid properly.

Any ideas on the best way to store the components?

I second that emotion.

My Panzer collection -- the original game + three expansions -- is even more of a mess.

I used three different boxes - one for units (not used often, just set-up), one for orders (used a lot!), and one for generic game markers (KO, BU, FC, etc.). I'm not thrilled with this method and am keeping my eyes out for other ways to store everything. It certainly won't fit back in the box!

As an ASL player this is the norm to me.

Yep, OCS player here but same deal. No way the counters once punched and trayed (or bagged) will all fit in the game box.

I used four of the Chessex counter trays:

Tray 1: US units
Tray 2: USSR units
Tray 3: Game markers
Tray 4: Everything that didn't fit in tray 3!

Just like with the ASL counters I use Raaco Assorter.

Units

Marker

The rest fits in the MBT box.

I actually considered RAACO but decided to wait until I'm next in the EU to buy it!

I bagged all the counters. I still had to store the maps separately (bagged as well) to get the lid to close.
A) I really hope the expansions have more room.
B) The 6x1 folded maps are acute solution for shipping, but I much prefer the 4x1 folded maps of the 3rd Panzer expansion. They are better than the 3x2 w/ a slit down the center of Panzer expansion 1 & 2, however.
C) I really, really wish they'd gone with a 3 inch deep box. I would have been happy to pay a bit more. I hate storing components outside of game boxes.

Edit:
D) I will probably find some other box and sort the counters into a tray or two, rather than leave things how they are.
