A few months ago, I posted on r/Boardgames about these poker chip Soldier Tokens I made for Kingsburg. While working on a big box customization project for a bunch of my card games, I decided to do the same thing for Jaipur. I always felt the scoring tokens in Jaipur would be awesome as poker chips, and after building a custom box for Splendor and seeing how the design worked, I just couldn’t resist finishing the project.

Take a look!

Edit:For those who didn't see it, I posted this tutorial on how to make these chips in the DIY forum. That post has also now been updated with links to the sticker images used on these chips, in case you want to make your own set.

Funny...having only played the game online, I thought they already were poker chips.

Pete (just avoided disappointment if he does buy the game)

These look awesome. I am curious. What did you wind up coming up with for a storage solution for the game?

That is awesome!! For those who might be interested, I just took the plunge on ordering up some poker chips to begin this project. Because you have to buy a minimum of 25 in each color, I bumped the black up to 48, and have basically ordered enough to create 3 complete sets for Jaipur. I'm gonna be up for selling 1-2 of them to recover some of the 40 dollars I had to invest to get them. Feel free to PM if you are interested. I am thinking maybe 18 bucks a set plus shipping which will get the completed product for those who might be interested. If you are reading this currently and I have not come back and edited this post, than this option is still available. I would have been down to buy this myself if another was offering...

Also worth noting... I went to fedex and printed the sticker pdfs out on actual white sticker paper. They cost a about $3.50 a set, which was easy, and the quality is superb. I recommend this route to anyone else who might be interested. I used the same sticker paper a while ago when making my Caverna meeples along with some clear glossy spray sealer and I was really happy with the final product.
