RGG doesn't have an Essen booth.

I am unaware of any agreement to have JumpDrive at another booth.

I have not seen the game at any booth or FLGS. And if I interpret the product page the game is not yet released.

So what is the case here? Makes it sense to search for it online? Or is it still in the works?

It's exactly what I said in my "teaser" posts:

"Jump Drive is currently on schedule for mid-Q4 2016."

Not every publisher works to the Essen timetable.

Thanks for the fast reply, Tom! thumbsup

By the way... My posting was in neither case meant rude or offensive... If it reads that way, I apologize...

I'm thinking that Essen and Germany wouldn't be best place to premiere this game .
1) there was The City already on German market - so look for this The City , if you want get a taste of mechanics (but not theme and (re)balance) until the new game will be avaiable.
2) german market is hard for games with SF theme
There was no big Rio Grande presence in Essen this year (last year there was premiere for two Rftg expansions Xeno Invasion and Ambition).
There was sellout of IIRC German version of Rebel vs Imperium, German Roll (and IIRC Ambition)
But mid- IV quater means rather BGG-con than Essen.
But several experiences tought me that with RGG "game is out when it is out"
