I see where the aggression gives Russia a permanent +2 support.

Am I correct that it also puts both Poland markers on the Garrison Track?

Thanks.

It all depends on how it happened (i.e. was there a Nazi-Soviet Pact?)

Re: Poland--Does Successful Ger. Aggression Cause Russia +2 Garrison Requirement Because of Forced Trade Pact?
No Nazi-Soviet Pact.

Right, then the following happens:

- Carry out support etc. effects as per the Aggression Effects Guide
- Russia can mobilise civilian factories
- Russia can DoW Germany in future

- Germany gains a permanent trade pact with Poland (as with other aggressions) which places the two influence counters on the Russian Garrison).

- Germany CAN make Poland a satellite, which gives Her an extra two infantry and an air unit to place on the garrison track (maintenance free).

The choice to make a satellite is generally a good thing in a pure GS game (extra garrison requirement = lower Russian support = less VPs for them), but has ramifications in a full GS-AWAW game.
