Re: Real Deal Football Mint
RAMsportUSA is Roman, Adam and Mo. We are three friends and coworkers who enjoy creating fun and often times wacky games to play at lunch. Real Deal Football is one of those games. RDF is our first venture outside the lunchroom into the real world of gaming.

RDF Live is an uncomplicated, but fascinating card game we’ve played during our super Super Bowl parties for many years. It’s easy to set up and fun to play either for points or money. It really makes watching a game on TV a total different experience. You may be pulling for your favorite team to win, but at the same time pulling for your opponent to score. Based on NFL statistics, it’s a game within the game.

Our new game, RDF Unplugged, plays like a traditional football game, but without all the plodding of going up and down the field. On Offense, it’s all about the Big Play attempt to score on the drive. While on Defense, do you have what it takes to stop your opponent? Everything else (2 yard rushes, screens, incompletions, first downs, etc.) you fill in with your own imagination as you quickly play back and forth against your opponent. Every time we play, we wonder how much luck, skill and tactics this game really has. At first play, it feels like all luck. Then you begin to see the patterns, the nuances, like which cards your opponent has played, and the errors in the tactics of your own play. Soon you realize you have to develop a strategy, a playbook, to counter your opponent. It reminds us of the tried and true card games where you have to make the right play(s) at the right time with the luck of the cards you draw to win the game. Everyone who has played, both young and old, has caught on quickly because it plays just like any game of American football.

Try it and let us know what you think. Have fun!

Re: Real Deal Football Mint
I'm glad you included a version which can be played when a football game is not currently being aired!
