Chicago Megagames is hosting the first full run of our original post-apocalyptic survival Megagame, My Kind of Town, on October 22nd in downtown Chicago. Tickets are only $30 for four hours of gameplay, we would love for you to attend.

The zombie war is over. They won. Now it's up to you to pick up the pieces. The cities that started as deathtraps emptied themselves first of the living and then of the undead hordes that wandered afield in search of prey; these miles-long mausoleums are now places for survivors to set down new roots and maybe, if they survive until winter, start over.

My Kind of Town is part RPG and part board game, played over 4 hours. It brings together up to 40 players in the aftermath of humanity's failed war against the zombies. In this game, each player leads a ragtag group of survivors through a post-apocalyptic Chicago where every move might be their last.

Information and trust are currencies as valuable as food, fuel, and military-grade explosives, and each group will find their values tested as the game unfolds.

Each player's survivors will have a unique set of advantages and drawbacks, and each player has a chance to pick a Core Value which defines their victory condition - and just like in life, your values may change over time.

A few players will play individuals up to... something... in the Loop Island. What are their intentions? Do they have the answer to infection, or are they just in a safe place to watch the world burn around them? You'll have to play to find out!

Watch the teaser trailer, and leaf through this imgur album of game pictures. Gameplay trailer coming soon.
