How would you use Bright Flames Warning ability when playing solo?

[Whoah, that post was five years old. Still, I guess the reply might help someone out.]

Decide before moving if you're so desperate to go in a particular direction, you'd enter even if there was a warning. If so, just draw a tile and step in.

Otherwise, look at the tile and roll. If you get "no warning", you're obliged to enter it even on a false negative result - since in normal play you would always do so. If you get a warning, you may not enter the warning tile that turn. Place it face down.

If you later enter a face-down tile that got a warning, select one of the face-down tiles on the board at random, swapping it with the tile you just entered (unless the random roll happened to hit the same tile). This minimises the extra knowledge you gain from viewing these tiles.

You still have to be on the honour system a bit - if you know there are two tiles face-down and they are both false positives, act as if you didn't know that. But this approach by and large lets the warning ability work.
