Rules for the (dramatically!) new Ninja are up on the website: http://www.sjgames.com/ogre/new-units/ninja.html

Please take a look and let me know what you think. Although I'd prefer it if everyone would give their feedback on the SJGames forums (http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=146374), I will check this thread as well periodically.

Thanks and enjoy!

Are these the rules for the Ninja that was with the Kick Starter edition?

Or was I thinking of another Ogre we are waiting on rules for?

Hey Drew,

All of the new units still say 'Draft'. Is there an estimated time-line of when they will be 'official'?

Thanks,

There actually wasn't a Ninja included in the KS edition; you're thinking of the Vulcan. Those rules are also published on the SJ Games site (http://www.sjgames.com/ogre/new-units/)

But that doesn't mean you can't have a 3-D Ninja for your games! They're just really sneaky. But they have been spotted in the BGG Store, if you're realllllly quiet! Take a peek: http://boardgamegeekstore.com/products/ogre-boardgamegeek-ex...

Nothing is set in stone. Hopefully by the end of next year. We have plans for these units, and therefore need to lock them down at some point!

The only one I envision potentially changing much from what's presented would be the Ninja, and even that I doubt undergoes too radical a change. Some of the features may get tweaked and/or deleted depending upon feedback, however.

Right! It was the Vulcan.

I need to check - I'm 99% certain I got the BGG promo.

Well, they're on sale now. And even if you did buy the sheet in the past, $5 gets you another Ninja, plus . . .

- Ernie, a Mark VI
- BGG-Zilla
- BGG Command Post
- BGG Strongpoint
- BGG Cruise Missile Crawler (with missile!)
- An exclsuive radio tower

. . . all for free!

I bought a BGG countersheet when they came out, and a metal Ninja when they were available.

When it came out that we were looking at two shadow Ninjas plus an actual Ninja in a typical use case, I bought another BGG sheet. Hey, what's five bucks?

Although many of you have commented already on the forums, for any of you who have not taken the opportunity, may I ask that you do so? We are looking for as much feedback as we can get on this particular unit. Thanks!

Our discussion may be found here: http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=146376

Thanks again!
