From the rulebook, for the Knight player:

"After viewing the Treasure card, you may keep it facedown near you, or you may decline it (remove the card from the game) to gain 5 Grit. Facedown Treasure cards can be revealed later."

What does it mean? That the Treasure cards collected by the Knight are kept secret from other players until revealed? And how/when to reveal them? Just like that, by saying so and activating them with a Hero Cube?

Yes - Keep treasure face down until you're ready to use it, then flip it face up and place a Hero cube on it (if it needs one).

It gives a minor advantage to the Hero. The Dragon/Goblins/Thief might put themselves in a bad position they otherwise wouldn't do if they knew the Hero had a weapon/bow/boots/etc.

The Cave obviously knows what the Hero has.
