This is for the scenarios in the base game + Kickstarter Stretch Goals + King and meant as an aid to players.
Further down this thread are also a number of posts regarding the skill sheets.

Now updated with 2.0 version of french Overlord's Book.

Base game scenarios:

In the Clutches of the Picts:
Special rules: + Wooden Huts: the walls of a hut can be broken if you have the skill "Wall Wrecker" (omitted in english)
Note: bow = bossonian bow (omitted in english)

Hunting the Tigress:
Heroes: + 5 of Belit's guards (omitted in english, but on the map)
Special rules: Skuthus cannot leap (english version)
Note: for Belit: Ornamental Lance = Ornamental Spear (in english)
Note: line of sight can be traced both into and from mast zones (bonus info)
Note: line of sight can be traced both into and from staircase zones (the ones in the middle of the ships), when shooting into the staircase zone one gains an elevation bonus. One can only exit the staircase zone from one side - (the top level of the staircase). (bonus info from french Monolith homepage)
Version 2.0 from Monolith: Chests: remove the middle chest aboard the Tigress. Item cards for the chests: 2 Healing Potions, 1 Explosive Orb, 1 Empty Chest.
After setup: Each hero moves 4 gems to fatigue zone.
Hadrathus spells: Mitra's Halo, Boris Rage.

In the Heart of Darkness:
To win: Skuthus must die. Heroes do not need to escape (clarification from french rules)
Heroes: + 2 of Belit's guards (omitted in english, but on the map)
Leaping from walls: + one cannot climb up the walls (omitted in english)
Version 2.0 from Monolith: Setup: The 2 Bossonian Archers begin the scenario in the same zone as Skuthus. The Dark Demon begins in the middle zone of the ruins (the fireplace).

For all Ophir's Gold:
Winning the game: heroes must exit the board (in english rules: fled the fort)
Rocks Fall: This should read: A rock is catapulted by the Ophirian Army into a zone chosen by the Overlord. Area attack of 2 red dice. (flavour text lacking in english)
Leaping from walls: + one cannot climb up the walls (omitted in english)
Conan's Cell: can only be opened by a hero (including Conan himself) with a complex manipulation with difficulty of 2. No wall wrecker allowed. (not really translation issues, but still relevant to the scenario)

Wrath of Anu:
Setup: Conan starts with zero gems in his fatigue zone. (Clarification)
Special Rules/Interrogation: no re-roll allowed, gem moved to melee (mistranslated in english to: this roll is not affected by hindering, move gem to fatigue)
Event tile: The events become available as a function of the heroes progress. Every time a priest talks or is killed, an additional event is usable (at the disposal) for the Overlord (translated from french version, more precise formulation)
Event tile: +1 priest should read: ....(max. 4 Bossonian Guard tiles in the River) (clarification)
Note: You don't need the "climb" skill to get onto a "bar" area (moving onto the bar costs 1 additional movement point) and, as an exception to the rule, you not only get the elevation bonus (1 yellow die) for ranged attacks, you get it for melee attacks too (this melee attack can target a figure in an adjacent lower elevation zone, even if this zone is not full). Bar does not block line of sight. (clarifications)
Note: If one interrupts one's own free movement with "Leap", one does not lose remaining movement points. (from Monolith)

Infernal Pursuit part 1:
Winning the Game: + there is no limit to the amount of game-turns (somewhat vague in english)
Mutineering Pirates: are taken from a separate reserve (omitted in english)
Rogue Wave: + re-roll allowed (omitted in english)
Turncoats: + re-roll allowed, and add to last sentence regarding replacing a pirate: if possible (omitted in english)
Special rules/With me!: + re-roll is allowed (omitted in english)
Navigation: turn marker may be moved 1/round/zone/figure (clarification)
Navigation: only allies in the "navigation zone" lose their attack action (omitted in english)
Version 2.0 from Monolith: Note: The Overlord cannot control more than 5 pirates with 1 tile.

Infernal Pursuit part 2:
Notes: Part 2 begins immediaetly after the heroes have moved the turn marker to space 6 (and it is still the heroes turn, they simply continue). The turn marker resets to zero and gems, damage etc stay in place. Special rules from Part 1 no longer apply, except that any surviving mutineering pirates still function as Allies (bunch of stuff from french Monolith page)
Winning the Game: + there is no limit to the amount of game-turns (somewhat vague in english)
Special rules: Overlord's Captain cannot leap (english version)
Jammed Ballista: + re-roll allowed (omitted in english)
Jammed Ballista: last sentence clarification: the ballistas in this area cannot be used...

Trapped like rats:

Special Rules/Recovering Equipment: if a hero succeeds his complex manipulation, any equipment found may be equipped immediately for free. (mistranslation/clarification)
Note: Hadrathus spells do not count as equipment. (omitted in english)

Kickstarter Stretch Goal / King scenarios:

The Thing From The Swamp:
Objectives: +she [Yselda] is unconscious and must be carried (omitted in english)
Event tile/Destruction: + figures and items in the new water zones don't take damage (omitted in english)
Special Rules/Tentacles: a tentacle can destroy a wall to clear line of sight (flavor text, omitted in english)

Facing The Serpent-Specter:
Objectives: To win, the heroes must kill the snake or keep it from devouring 5 villagers (clarification)

The Serpent's Awakening:
Objectives: To win, the heroes must flee through one of the secret tunnel exits with Yasmela (from the french version)
Doors: The Overlords units can move... (clarification)
Pit: + to enter is a normal move (omitted in english)
Overlord: Yasmela is unconscious and may be carried, weight: 6 (omitted in english)

The Treasure of Tranicos:
Pit: + to enter is a normal move (omitted in english)
Special Rules: Gold Bags: a Hero may pick up a gold bag with a simple manipulation. (maybe not perfectly clear in english version)
Regarding Gold Bags: when/how the point value of these tokens is revealed is lacking in both versions (waiting for clarification from Monolith...)

Red Dawn:
Version 2.0 from Monolith: Pictish Drink: A hero may drink this item to move 2 gems from his fatigue zone to the available zone. The hero also suffers 1 wound.

The Crawling Shadow:
Version 2.0 from Monolith: Special Rules: Flight Impossible: The heroes cannot flee (exit the board) before the end of round 9. Thog is trying to absorb enough energy to leave the ruins - if this doesn't happen on this particular night, Thog will be trapped here for many years.

EDITS: This is an ongoing process. I try to keep updating the list as new stuff comes up. Looking forward to the new 2.0 rules in english...

Please let me know if you have comments on translation issues or other scenario-relevant stuff.

Good work gathering all the errors K. Hansen! Let's just hope someone from Monolith will send them forward to the editing team. I hate that a game over a year late has these rule errors (especially since I spent sooo much money on it) so gettin a revised rulebook sent from them with some lingering errors would be heartbreaking.

One thing someone mentioned in a facebook group I'm a part of regarding the Pict Village scenario, maybe this is something you can look into and add on your list?

Quote:
-Sorry but Conan can only break wooden wall. Zogar Sag's hut is a stone hut
- With the wall breaker skill it says a wall or wooden door.

- It's a translate mistake. In the French version of the rules, you can see in the "special rules" that you can only break the wooden wall.

I don't know if the error they're talking about is in the scenario in the overlord book or on the ability reference cards, if so Monolith would need to print those cards corrected..

Re: List of scenario translation issues v. 2.0
Hi !

You can find here the good version for some skills :

- Ambidextrous : When this character performs a Melee Attack, the character can use their 1-handed weapon cards to attack with.
- Circular Strike : When this character kills an ennemy character with a Melee Attack (and use a 2-handed Weapon with a weight of 3 or more), another ennemy character in the same area suffers the excess damage from the attack. If that character is killed repeat this process.
- Counterattack : When a character attacks this character with a Melee Attack, this character may immediately attack with a free unarmed Melee Attack, rolling 1 Red Dice instead of their normal dice
- Wall Wrecker : This character can spend 2 movement points to move across a wooden wall or door from 1 area to an adjacent area and place an opening token on that obstacle. Treat an opening token as a border.
- Intangible : This character can move across an obstacle from 1 area to an adjacent area. This character's movement is not affected by hindering.
- Leap : This character can roll 1 Red Dice to leap. If the die shows symbols equal to or higher than the number on an adjacent leap area, place this model in an area adjacent to that area. If the result is lesser, the character lose his movement and don't move. Leaping is not affected by hindering.
- Flying : This character can fly over any obstacle and is not affected by hindering.
- Leadership : This hero can move 1 gem from their Reserve zone to their Tired zone to activate an ally. Activated allies move and attack like units. Each ally can be activated only once per turn.
- Fascination : A hero cannot attack this character unless this character has attacked that hero before.
- Untouchable : When this character suffer a Ranged Attack, he get 1 Armor point
- Bodyguard : When a friendly character in this character's area is attacked, this character can parry instead of his friend. The attacked character can add his armor dice to the result.
- Protected : This character cannot be attacked if there is a friendly character without Protected in their area.

Good point ! There is indeed something in the french scenario about this. I will edit my original post above...
Thanks

Re: List of scenario translation issues v. 2.0
Counterattack should not say 'unarmed' attack, but a regular red die attack that gets no weapon bonus. An 'unarmed attack' is actually -2 of whatever die you roll.

This was discussed in the 'Who will be our French Hero' thread I believe.

I am starting to get a "Myth"-y feeling about this game. Pretty sure mine's headed right to the marketplace after it comes in. In my opinion, for a KSer that generates this kind of cash, to get a poor translation is unacceptable.

The only "unacceptable" thing is to make a mistake and not try to fix it, which is *not* the case here. Let's try to keep this thread on-topic and just gather all errata, please.

I have to agree.

- Protected : This character cannot be attacked if there is a friendly character without Protected in their area.

Still could be clearer (changes/additions marked in bold; comments/questions in italics):

Ambidextrous : When this character performs a Melee Attack, the character can use two 1-handed weapon cards in a single attack. (Any character can use their 1-handed weapon cards; Ambidextrous means two at once so it should say that rather than expecting readers to infer it from the use of plural.)

Circular Strike : When this character kills an enemy character with a Melee Attack and using a 2-handed Weapon with a weight of 3 or more, another enemy character in the same area suffers the excess damage from the attack. If that character is killed and there is still excess damage to be assigned, repeat this process on another enemy character in the same area.

Counterattack: When a character attacks this character with a Melee Attack, this character may immediately attack with a free unarmed Melee Attack, rolling 1 Red Dice instead of their normal dice. (Not sure about this one. Is it that they get to attack immediately before the enemy's attack or immediately after?)

Wall Wrecker : This character may spend 2 movement points to move across a wooden wall or door from 1 area to an adjacent area then place an opening token on that obstacle. The opening token is treated as a border.

Intangible : This character may move across an obstacle from 1 area to an adjacent area. This character's movement is not affected by hindering.

Leap: This character may roll 1 Red Dice to attempt to leap. If the die shows symbols equal to or higher than the number on an adjacent leap area, place this model in an area adjacent to the leap area. If the result is less than the leap area's number, the character loses his movement and doesn't move. Leaping is not affected by hindering.

Flying : This character can fly over any obstacle and is not affected by hindering. (In the Wall Wrecker description, it refers to the wall or door the character goes through as an obstacle. The way Flying is written, it would mean a character could fly through walls of the pict huts or from room to room of an interior building (e.g., Wrath of Anu). Is that correct?)

Leadership : This hero may activate an ally by moving 1 gem from their Reserve zone to their Tired zone. Activated allies move and attack like units. Each ally can be activated only once per turn.

Fascination : A hero cannot attack this character unless this character has attacked that hero before.

Untouchable : When this character suffers a Ranged Attack, he gets 1 Armor point. (What does "suffer" mean? I.e., does it mean they just need to be the target of an attack or does it mean they have to have suffered damage? The rule should be explicit.)

Bodyguard : When a friendly character in this character's area is attacked, this character can parry instead of his friend. The attacked character can add his armor dice to the result.

Protected : This character cannot be attacked if there is a friendly character without Protected in the same area.

I'd say immediately after. That's a counter-attack, after all, not a preemptive strike.

No, you can't fly though walls. Flying is simply flying over things, not "ethereal form" (a bird cannot fly through a brick wall).

You get +1 armor point against ranged attacks. Since the attacker always rolls first (Heroes rules pages 7-8), there is no point in rolling for defense if the attack utterly fails, whatever the bonus. Except if you really love rolling dice :).

Counterattack is NOT an unarmed attack, which implies -2 to be added, but a 1 red die attack with no added weapon bonuses.

We've uncovered another translation error, regarding dropping of items, which ends up being unclear in English (but is crystal clear in French). The details are in thread 1653709.

Another minor one for the Hunting the Tigress scenario (English):

Scenario setup says Bêlit gets the "Ornamental Lance", but the card's text is actually "Ornamental Spear".

A possible error in For all Ophir's Gold, but we need a French speaker to confirm:

Quote:
Rocks Fall: The Overlord chooses an area and rolls...

i'm pretty sure it should say "...chooses a rock slide area..." because:

a) the Rock Slides special rule explicitly uses that term.

b) as written, a rock slide can affect a space inside the tower, which makes no sense whatsoever.

Good one, I did not see this ! I am so looking forward to getting my own copy of the game - really tired of looking at my computer screen....

In the french version: a rock is catapulted by the Ophirian Army into a zone chosen by the Overlord. Area attack of 2 red dice.
I will add it to the list...

Somewhat ironically, i was reading that scenario from the PDF .

That actually makes more sense than what i thought. In English it's called "Rocks Fall", which implies a rock slide (which, in this scenario, is represented by "rock slide counters").

We can't realistically expect them to acknowledge every single mistake individually, but they have acknowledged that (A) there are problems and (B) they're working on them:
