If I recall correctly, there used to be a feature in ccancients.net in which you could filter scenarios that only used the base game or any combination of expansions. I can't seem to find anything equivalent in the new interface. Am I missing something?

Thank you Mark,
I've tried to restore the previous functionality.
I've just added a new tag called "Playable with Base Game"
You can see it here: http://www.commandsandcolors.net/ancients/component/tags/tag...
Please Gustavo let me know if it fits your need.
Ale

I don't get it. "102 Himera (480 BC)" needs both Carthagians (Base game) and Greek (expansion).

So I would not expect this one to show. Or am I misunderstanding?

Ciao M@tthijs,
to play 102 Himera (480 BC) scenario you need 2 factions.
These factions could be created using blocks from the basegame if the unit counts allow it.
In this example carthagininas units easily came from base game and for syracusan ones you could use "grey romans" from the base game.

In fact you only need:
1x LI
1x LS
6x MI
3x HI
2x MC
2x LDR
and these units can be reacreated with grey blocks.

I hope this can clarify everything.

Regards
Alessandro

That's really helpful Alessandro, thanks!

Sorry for the stupid question, but is there a way to get to these tags through the website? I couldn't find how to get to them on the menus, only by typing "tag" on the search bar. Do I need to be logged in for them to be accessible? blush

Good question. Until this thread, I did not know that there was a page that lists tags and by substitution I found the corresponding page for Napoleonics but there does not seem to be a tag option in the basic navigation for users to find.

Any plans to add a 'playable with base game' option for Napoleonics?
